In recent years, the West Helena community has seen more and more of its citizens moving away from the area for better opportunities due to the lack of jobs and amenities in our city. There are many abandoned and run-down homes across the area as a result.

In an effort to help improve the community for current and future residents, I ask that fellow Greeks partner with me to celebrate the history of the black community in West Helena, Arkansas by joining our efforts to offer affordable housing to the residents of the West Helena area.

By pledging a minimum of $5.00 during the month of February and the following months, you will help us to rebuild and revitalize the community.

The intent of this initiative  is to provide community members with information important to revitalize the community as well as educate others of the contributions of black leaders to the history of the West Helena area.
